a brief break from sewing

So I thought I'd steal a little break from sewing to update.

Currently I'm in Milford, CT working for the National Theater for arts and education helping get their last two tours out the door. I was only supposed to do Romeo and Juliet but I showed up and the costumer who was supposed to have done the Imaginary Invalid was completely MIA and half of it was not done. So I got pulled in.

All-in-all it has been a very pleasant experience. I didn't think I would have such a good time doing such a blatantly breaking all historical rules place, they just kinda do big dresses or vauglely 17th or 14th century men's wear. But I really am having fun, I've been able to look at it as what fits the show, not what would be correct. For example all the guys in R+J wear doublets and knickers, so not right but I understand that poofy pants or even worse codpeices would throw the school kids A LOT! So it's a smart decision I think.

Anyways I should get back to work, the goal for the day is to get Juliet all together and the Nurse assembled before I go to bed....Here's hoping, I finished 1 of the 3 dresses that involves...
