Help choose Rob's waistcoat trim

Here you can see the  cut out waistcoat on my table.  It's going to have those small silver buttons that the man picked out and now I can't decide on trim. So you get to help me!

Option 1. This silvery gimp with flat sequins sprinkled randomly about. (I should warn you I do NOT plan to measure and I WILL be attempting glue before I sew them all on)

Option 2.
A cream gimp with sequins in a row around the pockets, same silver buttons as he likes them.

Wait, why are you putting sequins on it again? (I think I may have missed what event this is for...)

I beg you not to glue. Really, sewing will be much quicker then you think and the glue will likely stain, never come off or (as I have learned the hard way) eventually the sequin will fall off and leave that ugly glue spot/stain/crust for all to see.

I'll have to think about it.... BUT OMG WE HAVE THE SAME BUTTONS.

I like the braid in the first option!

I like option #1 - go for the bling! A fop needs some sequins scattered in the trim too. Just saying.

Also there is no shame in gluing sequins, especially when they are scattered like that. Bah! I hand sewed the scattered sequins on my Red Diva dress bodice (hand sewed the ones in the trim too, that was easier!) but totally glued all the ones on the skirt. And no one has ever known.

Use tweezers and E-6000 glue - a friend who does ball room dancing recommended the glue to me and it is great stuff. The flumes will kill brain cells if you aren't in a well-ventilated space but the sequins (or rhinestones) will never come off! At least none of mine have.

The trim of 2 with the scattered sequins of 1, and some sequins to highlight the pocket flap.
