A tea for two..or twenty

On Saturday madamekat held an amazing regency tea. I had a totally marvelous time. I'm pretty sure I only get invited so I show up with my tent, but hey works for me!




Our amazing and gracious hosts welcomed us to a yard full of lovely tables with delicate tea cups (I may or may not have forgotten to get a photo of that)

The event featured the finest teas from some place I forget and Regency Teas which I simply cannot rave enough about. And everyone looked completely fabulous.

We ate tiny sandwiches and sipped tea at the tables then wandered over to where The Bohemian Belle and Dames a la mode had set up a trunk show for us. Let me tell you there needs to be fabulous shopping at ALL the parties from now on!



Our favorite ribbon enabler...


"Want to buy a beautiful bonnet?" The Bohemian Belle brought a beautiful tiara...it didn't even make it till the party started before Kat had given it a good home.


"My pockets are stuffed with pretty ribbon"


"What's that you say? you need more champagne?"


Didn't mandie_rw's new dress turn out smashing? I love the print and as always the fit was exceptional.



Dashwood decided to take his human for a walk.



In the end it was a great party....

Thank you so much for everything you did to help me make this a fun party for everyone! You provided the tent, got the tea spoons I requested, found me old fashioned champagne saucers, made sandwiches, helped set up, and were all around fabulous and fun! The event literally couldn't have happened without you!

I really love your new dress, and I hope that you see how great you looked now that the photos are starting to appear!
