I officially is fat

I decided last night with a smidge over two weeks to go till Dress U to see if I could lose 5lbs before Dress U. This doesn't seem unreasonable to me. So to get a good starting benchmark I weighed myself (153) and measured my waist HOLY CRAP IT'S 33 inches!!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure if I don't drop 5lbs now nothing I own will fit me then!!! When the hell did I turn into a giant ugly fat blob? How did I let this happen? I don't get it! Guess it's back on the calorie counting bandwagon for me.

Oh, that sucks! It really does creep on. One day it's there and you're like o_O!!! 5 pounds in two weeks...make sure you get a good cardio workout in there 3-4 times a week! I'm rooting for you! You can do this! (Oh, and sorry I'm going to ruin your diet on Sunday)

I don't know if this helps, but I have an app called " my fitness pal" that helps you set a calorie goal and counts them for you. It helps me ( when I use it) and I have friends that have lost weight with it. If anything, it helped me be aware of what I'm eating.

Thanks for the recommendation, I've downloaded the app to my ipod touch and logged in online. We'll see if it helps. I do find when I have to track what I eat I eat less as it's a pain to write it all down :-p makes me avoid food more. Here's hoping.
