so it only took me three months...

Okay interest of full disclosure, above picture is before I put in the horizontal bones. But they are actually done now.

Note to self: wrights bias tape is fast binding, but not the most...graceful.

Yes sorry I was far too lazy to put them on again. Plus Rob had a client over and I didn't want to be that weird wife (not that I'm not I just try and keep it on the DL around clients)
And then you'll never guess what I found?!?

That there is a small miracle. Thank you past Robin for once in your life you didn't screw me over :-p I combined them into a fraken pattern tonight and cut out a mock up. We'll see tomorrow if it's a useful starting point.
Oh and funny aside. I stopped at Joann's tonight to get ribbon that actually matched for the ties and lacing, so of course I brought the stays in with me. As I was checking out some nice lady behind me went "Oooh that's so pretty, is it a wall hanging?" O.o
So that's a new one for me, 18th century stays mistaken for a wall hanging. I guess we all see the world differently

My winter project is making myself proper colonial stays so I can stop cheating and wearing my Elizabethan ones. =P
And OMG the wall hanging comment! *gigglesnort*
