Possible I've been jumping around a bit..

I've been very proud of myself for coming home and sewing everynight. I've been paying for it with VERY hard to get up mornings but progress has been made!

Monday:
-Second half of eyelets
-Try on bodice to mark darts
-sew darts

Tuesday:
-sew piping on neckline and hem
-sew skirt seams
-Placket

Wednesday:
-Pleat and sew skirt
-Hem

Thursday:
-Enlarge sleeve pattern
-mock up sleeves

Friday:
-sleeves (cut out of lining and fashion fabric)

Saturday:
-some kind of chemisette
-Collar

I just do NOT feel like pleating a skirt today...so I started sleeves! and boy are they going to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever made.

if you don't laugh at me looking like a plaid house in this I'll be firmly disappointed.

I'm going for that hideous-the-victorian's-adored thing

The sleeves look just like the diagrams in the books. They'll be great in the bias plaid.

Do your socks have thread on them, or are they patterned with EKG traces or similar?

They do in fact have EKGs on them! A friend gave them to me when I graduated and I wore them to take my boards for luck.
