I have returned victorious!

Sio and I are back from Ithaca...a very very enjoyable day and a half spent visitng old friends :-)

my apartment is gorgeous, biggest room I've ever had in a dorm. and scarily there's a mirror on the ceiling, I'm assuming I'm supposed to put my bed below it...but somehow...nah.too sketchy for me. besides i want my bed over the other wall. but who wants a mirror over their desk?

The orginal plan had been to leave here for ithaca around noon...we left past six. but it really wasn't a big deal since we weren't supposed to meet anyone till 10 anyway. *insert three hours going vroom vroom here* we got to my apartment around 9:30 and started hauling everything upstairs. I fit my twin mattress into a civic! i must get points for that feat. anyway once the phone had charged I called kev and trevor to make some plans. trevor called back first so he got dibs. we met him, zack, and zack's gf named amanda at manos. a fabulously sketchy all night diner in ithaca, it's just one of those places that are cooler because of their slight sketchy nature.

so after everyone but me downed cheap diner coffee and we all had some form of food (yay mozerella sticks) Zack and Amanda decided to go back to their place for drinks. Trevor was invited so kinda by default we got invited. The intention was not to stay long, but the conversation was so good and their faces were so funny while taking shots that it was almost 3am by the time we left.

Spent the first night in my new apartment curled up in a great pair of arms. Elmo kisses well for being a muppet.

In the morning We all met up again at manos for breakfast. talk about a LOT of food for cheap!!! After saying by to Zack, Amanda, and Trevor, Sio and I headed down to the Salvos on rt 13. And it was half off day!!! score!

for 12$ I got:
~two pairs of 1940's stockings
~a twin size steel bed frame
~an adorable green lamp
~white lampshade to complete the look
~nice yellow silverware tray

We met kevin at 6 for dinner at friendly's, YUM. then it was to KDR to see his nice new room :-) and meet his mice...and turtle...and hissing cockroatches...seesh he's a regular petting zoo.

At 9 we headed back on the road. with a stop to scrub the splattered bugs off my windshield (couldn't see there were so many) we made it home around 12, i dropped sio off on the other side of town and was hom in pj's by 12:30...now it's time for sleep.
