the journey to the center of my uterus

So I took my five days of progesterone and very carefully timed it so that my period would start on Wednesday and I could have blood work done Friday (or Saturday if it was late). On friday afternoon at work suddenly I had spotting and was so nauseated I barely made it home. I was in a panic that my period would start on Friday and then day 3 would be Sunday. A day when both I had to work AND labcorp was closed. If there's a way to screw me over my body is usually always up for it. But I went to bed early and went with a "IF I DON'T REALIZE TILL MORNING THEN IT STARTED SATUDAY" which pretty much happened. I started the morning with my period. Crisis averted. Day 3 is tomorrow when I'm both off and Labcorp is open! Still crazy early but at least I can get my bloodwork done.
And then today I made a joking comment to the night shift nurse who was nauseated...oh yeah guess what she's pregnant too. I feel like everyone I know has gotten pregnant in the last year.
I bailed on the super bowl party tonight. This weekend at work was hellacious, we were short staffed and the kids were out of school for basically a week and they were climbing the walls. Then getting hit in the face on the way out the door was just too much. I came home to eat frozen pizza and cry into my dog.
I need to get sewing tomorrow. someone make me.
