figures right before I leave I'd get sick, only me

I must say I couldn't have picked a Funner (yes it IS a word) more enjoyable way to spend my last friday in the states for nine months. I had a WONDERFUL time in Conn. with Keaton, Walaa, Liz and Keato's family. I even befriended the cat who hates everyone (she crawled in bed with me last night..lets all go awww)

I headed out after work yesturday around four, I got there approximatly 6:30 damn rush hour traffic! it can eat me! grrr
Anyway had no problems finding keaton's house, him and Walaa were waiting. nice to finally meet that girl! she brought me the most BEAUTIFUL handbag from Egypt! for my trip she said! So super sweet! Their friend Liz made us a very yummy dinner, then we watched Law and order: SVU and then while keaton took walaa home I did the dishes and chatted with Liz. She's really kick-ass! We were halfway through Whose line is it anyway when keaton got back (bestest show EVER) at which point I promptly fell asleep on the "BIG CHAIR" while they chatted...(this is where keaton scrapes me off the chair and drags me home to sleep. zzz)

This morning I was awoke at 4 by a cat snuggling up purring by my head then againa t 5 when she needed to get out of keaton's room into the litter box (keaton was banished downstairs but swore he didn't mind). around 10:30 my real wake up came in the form of keaton going "get up and shower so we can go to breakfast" a nice shower later his family took me to this great little diner for breakfast, not sure the name but I met his brother Sean who wasn't home the night before and his girlfriend, both very nice. They're a really fun family!

Then keaton Walaa and I went for some mini-golf, i mean "safari golf" there were all these big african animals peering from the flora and fauna. actually it was a neat place. then it was time for me to head home. cue the boring drive...

so here I am. back in delmar, trying to decide what to do with my last saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday...

I'm already signed on elsewhere for Monday and (apparently) Wednesday nights, but Sun. and Tue. are still clearish. However, since Beatrice is out of commission for the nonce my father is driving back and forth to Saratoga, which makes things a bit more difficult -- I'm going to wind up coming all the way home whether I'd otherwise stay out or not. I'll call tomorrow sometime, maybe noon, since Tuesday's no guarantee either (rachael may wind up pinning me down for then instead during the brief days she's in town).
