follow the yellow brick road...

I really should be sleeping but the urge to play with Adell, my new lap top...is just plain to strong. :-)

I leave in a week...wow...seven days...one week...tomorrow's my last friday...wow.

You know I thought it would be so hard to let go of this town. I was clinging so hard to people, I called megan or amy or chris everyday desperatly seeking approval. Then i went to double "h" for a weekend and started work and just stopped calling...it was so easy. I didn't notice or care that I wasn't going out everynight. I was exaughsted from work, and I got such affection and acceptance from my kids. they just offered me their love. I didn't feel like I had to earn it, beg for it, ask for it, or modify myself for it. I thought it would be so hard to let go of this town and the people, but when it was time I just stopped calling and very tellingly none of them have called me in a month. I guess it was just me pushing the friendship, so it's probably better to just let things go.

in the mean time I'm heading out to see Keato tomorrow after work (speaking of unconditional friends) so i better hit the sack and get some shut eye!
