Almost a year ago a family friend's husband was brutally murdered. beaten to death with a fireman's ax. His wife, my mother's close friend, was disfigured and has faced a difficult slow recovery. The whole incident really struck close to home and still rattles me. Today Chistopher Porco, the kid who was in my playgroud! was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder. There is so much swirling through my head. I don't know what to think. Do I honestly think he could have done it? No. but how much did I really know him? not that well...I think I'll call molly or maybe mike. I'd really prefer mike if he's in the mood to talk. I just feel so sad about the whole situation. what a mess of lives.
