tonight

To be ready for tomorrows excursion I must:

Pleat humongous amount of fabric to make skirt hem ruffle
sew on said ruffle
sew velvet ribbon over stitch lines in ruffle
make collar
make cuffs
whip stitch down bias binding on bottom and sleeves of bodice
make petticoat
pull some kinda dickie from some kinda who knows where

I'm seriously wishing I had a cute fur stole. I think that would just look smashing. NO idea if that's remotely period correct or not, just think it would look nice. 

But this kinda weather on this kinda day just makes me want to curl up into a ball. I can't believe it's been eight years. I remember exactly where I was, what I was doing.
