So I'm 31. And as predicted year 30 was an amazing one. Lots of changes, mostly great. We moved to an new apartment that is much bigger, nicer, and less likely to catch on fire. We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. I started nursing school and have found the work increadibly fulfilling and made some amazing friends to boot. I have strengthened friendships, I have seen the wanning of friendships, and I have loved and been loved. (I love you all!) I went to several happy weddings, welcomed a niece, found out a friend will welcome a new baby! I laughed till my sides hurt, cried less than other years and feel completely fulfilled in my place now. Year 30 was the best one yet and I can't wait to see what year 31 brings.

For my birthday itself I slept in deliciously late. I haven't woken up after nine in months. I watched favorite movies in bed till noon. Then I got up and did homework. I took my book to Panera for lunch. I forget that the material I'm studying (at the moment childbirth) might look unsettling over lunch to others. There was a 20 something guy who did a serious double take looking over my shoulder at my page. Then I went to Dave and Buster's for the annual birthday skeeball outting. It was WONDERFUL.

hiraimi came, friends from Joann's came, and friends from nursing school came. A great group. Rob got me a present, here ON my birthday, wrapped, for I think the first time ever. And it was from

tayloropolis's etsy store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now the proud (and somewhat stunned) owner of a GORGEOUS necklace and earrings. AND two yards of AMAZING plaid ribbon. Seriously best combo birthday/anniversary gift ever.
