We've celebrated two more birthday's at American Girl. Molly from 1944 and Julie from 1974. And don't point out to me that 1974 isn't a historic era I already know this. Anyway I thought I'd share a few pictures

I made this dress, and lordy don't get me started on how much I hate it and don't like how it turned out, I think it looks entierly homesewn and and completely not pleased with the finishing. But I do love my hat,  it was my great-grandmothers. The Dress is based on a vintage vogue pattern, rather difficult to use actually. I would consider myself an advanced sewer and the stupid instructions gave me migrains. In the end I did a lot of it the way I wanted instead.

Here's we're working our magic in the cafe

Totally not a very flattering angle of me

What you can't tell is that I'm holding the tails to the pin-the-tail on the donkey on the door behind my back. My swanky shoes are curtesy of Shannon who bought them a size too large, I completely love them.

I had to paint a peace sign on my face so I didn't look like a patron who wandered in off the street
Me with Lindsay, ain't she cute? On and that IS my actual hair in the photo, although still not in it's natural state, it prefers to be curly. I didn't realize how long it was until I saw these photos.
