I'm still thinking about that pink party dress...here's my question. They have it listed as for a girl, but it's got a 24" waist, and it's only 39" at the CF and they don't say if that's waist to floor or entire dress. but looking at the picture I suspect it's waist to floor. So I'm wondering in a world where girls are corseted from birth what are the odds that a teenager has a 24" waist and not like an 18" waist. And Victorian women were often very short by our standards...

What I'm really getting at here is I'm wondering if it's miss labeled. and perhaps isn't a child's dress...that's the one thing that holding me back.

Hey, it doesn't matter! Make whatever changes you like so it's perfect for YOU. I often change trim, lapels, etc. according to my taste and proportions :D

i wouldn't worry about it hon. It really is perfect for you. I don't think it's a child's dress. Maybe a teenager or young woman. Go for it!!!!

Hmmm... well, not all women had the 18" waist. I'm tiny and I only have a 22" usually. My CF waist-to-hem is 38", so... I'd say you're just fine. :) It looks like a young woman's dress, too.
