alone again

robinsnestRob's working again tonight (WOOHOO) so I've had another nice quiet evening. I won't lie I wasted a lot of it going down memory lane on youtube. It's a rabbit hole that one!
BUT I did get some corset progress done tonight, I know you're shocked, I'm shocked frankly knowing me. I'm using![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jenthompson's great tutorial on her website as an easy guide so I don't have to think to much, bonus no resizing required! This afternoon I blew it up in photoshop till I got the scale right, then discovered that on Rob's Mac you can't tile print a PDF?! WTF on my laptop it was as easy as checking ONE box. GRRR is all I have to say to that. I had to carefully cut it into printable chunks so I could print them all individually then carefully cello them together. I mean really what a pain in the tuchus for no reason.
Then I had to stop and be an adult and clean out the dead body in the refrigerator that was stinking up the kitchen every time you opened the door...and wash all the drawers and shelves. Being an adult seriously stinks...literally.
Anyway this evening I've feeling very...flitty? can't seem to veg in front of the tv as that requires sitting still. I picked up a bit, cleaned off my sewing table, made dinner, fished all the lost pins out of my great grandmothers tomato pin cushion (there were 27) and then was able to focus on the corset (and you wonder why I'm convinced I have ADHD).
I'm using this white twill something that I found in they stash, I have ZERO idea what I bought it for. and it has some little black smudges on it...but I'm not gonna win any awards for this sucker anyway so it seemed like it's perfect project. I got the fabric ironed and the pieces marked and cut out...then I saw something shiny and wandered away...
