On Sunday I was at work sitting with my FAVORITE kid R doing his respiratory treatments. He's frankly a medical miracle that he's alive. very complicated medical history but basically was born with most of his organs on the outside, just has a skin graft covering his heart so he has to wear a plastic shell that makes him look like a little pregnant lady. He's also autistic so his communication isn't perfect but he's SO smart and so eager and I love him to bits Anyway you have to sit with him during his respiratory treatments because otherwise he'll just unhook himself and wander away. So he and I sat there and played Angry birds and I thought of

koshka_the_cat and suddenly realized his roommate J's mom had left a book on tape running for J when she left..it was The Force Awakens. I chuckled to myself and thought of

jenthompson and how different my costuming life was from my real life and yet they intersect. :-) it was a nice little moment.
