lets see it's noon on sunday and so far I've gone out for brunch and walked the dog...I'm going to set up some filming stuff and work on the Augusta Stays next I think. I've discovered one of the things that's different about costuming and blogging and costuming on video is when you blog you can really put minimal effort into the documenting sans snapping a few photos during it and think about it all later. When I blog something I make stays then write a blog about it, when I'm making stays for a video what I'm really making is a stays video and the stays themselves are a bonus product...does that make sense?...probably why vlogging is the easiest form of costume content but I think it's actually much more "filler" than real content...

and just as proof that I DID in fact knit my last 3 rows...it took me 2 years to make this side of the pinball...and I'd LOVE to have the other side for February in Williamsburg.........hahahaha

Lovely!
Totally makes sense. It's only as much work as you make it, of course, and you care about making a good video.
It's even difficult for me to just "snap a few photos" since there's no natural light in our place. Trying to get a picture usually gets me more frustrated than the project at hand!
I've been enjoying some of the costumer videos out there. If they make nice videos, I'll watch their how-tos even when I don't do things the way they do:)

That pinball looks so pretty!

And I just sent you a link to the event planning page I made for Williamsburg. I hope to see you there!

Sorry I didn't put you on it earlier! That was an oversight on my part. I wish Facebook would just sort things in a normal fashion, like alphabetical by name, for once?

It looks great. I love the bobby pin for scale.

I always think I should put something in for scale but then forget when I actually go to take the picture.

The first side of my first pinball sat for long periods, but the second side went much faster. Here's wishing you greater speed as the end appears nearer.

So it's knitted in a square but then the edges are hidden when it's assembled, got it. How pretty!

Your pinball side is gorgeous! I think it would probably take me two years too, tbh.
