Proud Girl Friend

I just wanted to say how very proud I am of Rob and my team for the Five Day Film Festival at MCCC. WE WON!
We won the grand prize as well as the production design and acting awards. We worked really hard on this movie and it's so nice to feel the validation of the film community. One of the other contestants very graciously said to me "if your film hadn't won I would have been SO pissed" We met a lot of great people, passed out a lot of business cards, and oh yeah won! WOOHOO!

We currently don't have power at our apt, loooooong saga involving PECO being stupid finally going "oh yeah, we do need to fix that....it'll take 24-72 hours for us to get you a technician" so we're into 48 hours now without power, so I can't upload a video from Rob's computer (yay panera's free wi-fi)  at some point the organizer usually posts all the entries on Youtube.

But anyway I feel HUGELY validated and proud of him and myself. The costumes got a great response and I pulled them out with an hours notice, so all things considered I'm very Happy!

oh AND all my bloodwork came back totally negative, I have good cholesterol, liver function, I'm not anemic, I don't have lupus, arthritis, celiaxs, or HIV. So that's good to know :-)

Hope the power comes back on soon...can you at least shower and flush the toilet? Haha.
