I have one complaint about London, and just one. I'm having trouble meeting people my age. I've met lots of funny old people and had lovely conversations with them, but the only people within 10 years of my age that I've met are all ithaca students! I went out to pubs with the boys on saturday but found it to be all self contained groups, I think you go to meet up with people you know there. well i suppose not always but we were also younger than a lot of people there and I think I'd sketch out a group of 30 somethings if I went up and introduced myself... hmm. Jen and I are gonna try the park today, see if we can't meet up with some soccer-football playing people and join in. or just take in the sunshine if nothing else.
other than a lack of new people this city is phenominal! For the most part I speak the language but you'd be suprised, a thick thick accent can still throw me, as does the fact that you're often surrounded by non-english speaking people!
well i'm out of things to say so that's it for now.
