news on the homefront

So lots of exciting things going on here.

I've officially moved into my new apt. I like it plenty and the girls I'm living with seem great (except for the elusive Sandy who's SMing a show now and I have yet to actually see) but thanks to said mystery roommate we have internet!!!! Stage managers have to send a billion rehersal reports and such so we have internet in the apt which I completely wasn't expecting and was preparing to almost never get to talk to mike. I was elated when I discovered we had it!

It was 96 degrees today according to the clock thingy downtown, no wonder as I took apart my desk in that boiling apt I used to live in my hair was sticking to my neck and sweat was dripping down my breasts. sooo gross. I officially hate moving. hate hate hate it. grossness

I love Mike.

I've almost completely finished my first comission for Carrie's friend Twist. Just a little more hand sewing and a sash to make. I plan to complete the kimono part tomorrow after work. I find handsewing very theraputic sometimes.

So last night I went to a drag show! and OMG it was FABULOUS!!! I had soooooo much fun!!!! It was basically a bunch of adults who like to play dressups lipsyncing to fun songs. I had a blast. and I've decided that I really want to be a drag queen! I want to wear lots of make up, tacky jewlery and BIG hair and dance around in high heels!!! :-)

I love you Mike I'm sorry I missed you to say g'night. but I'm now off to bed myself. Tomorrows my first day at the hanger! I'm nervous so wish me luck!!!!
