i has dress!

Still no pictures as Rob's camera is still in Arizona, but I has dress! It's on my dress form as we speak! And it's quite nice, now granted this is on a dress form and not a body as it's still missing it's draw strings and hems but so far so good :-) I'm quite pleased. This pattern has only one major flaw, that being the side back peice is half an inch too long.  that and the pattern instructions are in a very nonsensical order to me. why would you gather BEFORE adding a placket...you'd have to cut your gathers to insert the placket...I don't get it but whatever. I kinda just laughed at their method and put it together the way I wanted. It's pretty :-) I really hope it fits.


In other news, two days till Rob gets home! I really wish he'd hurry it up...I miss him :-( It's weird being in this apt all by myself! And I need my own digital camera! Mooching is great till he leaves and the nerve of him to take his own camera on his own vacation! HUMPH!
