Coming up for air

So I survived my show in NYC, and there is something SUPER awsome about having the most successful writing partnership on broadway specifically compliment your costumes to the director! Very satisfying! I shall post pictures later...right now I need to force myself to focus on my easter dress.

So about that easter dress, I decided as this was going to be my first easter going to church (been going with rob, it makes me happy, and i find the whole quiet time kinda of mentally focusing, don't worry i'm not really going catholic) I of course need a new easter dress...I mean what's the point of easter without an easter dress right? So I bought this lovely lavender and white searsucker fabric and I'm going to make This lovely shirt dress,(the one with short sleeves, and I'm so wearing it with wrist gloves and a hat) but Easter being in...oh...five days I should probably get a move on! It's like junior prom all over again. okay the goal for tonight is to get the pattern peices cut out, ironed and at least start to lay out the damn thing...I would give myself bonus points if I could get it all cut out tonight...but I'm being realistic.  :-p
