The reenactment on Sunday was lovely, cold, but lovely. There was good company, a wee bit of shopping, some medical advice I'll never take and people shooting guns at each other. at least for the most part the dead people stayed dead. I do so hate those zombie soliders. The fifth pair of sleeves so far seems to be the charm! The dress will probably never be perfect, in fact the next thing I need is a winder stomacher, this one juuust fits but wasn't playing nicely (doesn't help I had it pinned on crooked). But for the most part it's edging towards success one step at a time. I was looking at just HOW much of this fabric I still have and pondering making a GIANT teal 1860s dress for Remembrance Day...I mean it would make me easy to find if [livejournal.com profile] mandie_rw misplaces me right? The problem is I really want a giant pagoda sleeves and she says my cotton print is inappropriate for that. But $ is too damn tight to justify new fabric so it's coat sleeves or GIANT TEAL DRESS.

I have a midterm in Sociology tonight after two quizes this morning, blah. Plus side my micro test that's usually on Tuesday is now on Thursday. And guess who now has an exam on the Monday after the pumpkin tea thanks to Hurricane Sandy? oh yeah that'd be me. blech. So who in my car wants to sit shotgun and quiz me? *eyebrow waggle*
