So I bid and won a rather ugly wedding veil.

Now why would anyone bid on such a hideous veil you might ask. Well here's the thing. It REALLY looks like it might be silk tulle. And I really wanted that softer drape. Silk tulle costs between $20-40 a HALF YARD! YEESH and all the veils I liked so far were $300+ So if it comes and it's really silk tulle? AWESOME! I'll just pay someone to shorten it and cut off the ugly bits and add pretty lace! If it's not? Oh well I'll re list it, it was less than $40.00

If it is what I think then it's a really lovely antique veil that someone "altered" for their own wedding in the 80s or 90s

it definitely looks different from the nylon tulle of today. What happened to that one that you could have custom ordered??? And what happened to not making it???

You missed the part where I said "Pay someone to make it" that'd be YOU *puppy eyes* ;-) Well or Victoria I suppose.

I'm also thinking Fingertip length so I can wear it for the beginning of the reception.
