I hate it. I look like a bit blob. What a waste of beautiful fabric :-(

I used the RH sleeve pattern and holy cow they're huge. But I really don't want to try and take them in right now. Perhaps fixing the length will make them less wrinkly. On the plus side I used the shallow curve on the undersleeve from PoF and I can actually easily life my arms over my head in this. So that's good. But blech I don't like how I look at all.

It looks to me like the gores aren't hitting your body in the right place and that's why it looks weird. They should be starting right at your natural waist and this looks a bit higher. Can you take them out and redo them lower?

weirdly when I fitted the muslin they needed to go that high or I got huge side wrinkles. But yes they are too short waisted. and I have no more fabric so I can't really cut new fronts with different slits :-(

you have no petticoats or bum roll on, that will raise your waistline to fit properly.

I think if you fix the sleeves and wear it with a full skirt, it will be adorable! I wouldn't give up hope.

thanks. I'm not sure I have time tonight to mess with their fullness but I'm hoping hemming them to a good length will really help

No! I like it. Sleeves are a bit big, yeah, but other than that it looks good. And the sleeves aren't even that bad!

My first thought when I scrolled down, was ooh, cute! So I like it too :)

Also a long sleeved smock will make the sleeves look better :)

thanks. I don't have time to mess with their circumference tonight so all I can hope is hemming them will help. *fingers crossed*

you aren't fully dressed, cut yourself some slack! Take your modern brain right out of your head and punt it across the room, because that is where this attitude is coming from.
Tomorrow, after a good night's sleep, take in the sleeves and finish this. Perhaps put a row of ribbon bows down the front. I think you look great in it, well, you will when fully dressed!

Now, go pour yourself a beer and call it a night!

its not meant to go with low rise jeans. Put on petticoats, and it will look 100 times better.

What Jess said--it will look way better when the petticoats fill things out. I didn't think it looks bad in this picture, either. Don't give up!
