Francaise Gown: for the first annual Francaise dinner, the second is coming up in march! Stay tuned for details. (btw I had my first anxiety dream about it last night, I'm making Rob a suit instead of a new gown for me and I completely forgot about it till the week before...and was frantic about what he was going to wear!) I followe [livejournal.com profile] koshka_the_cat's amazing tutorial.

Regency Gown I wasn't making I accidentally made a blue and white regency dress after watching too much pride and prejudice. I ended up wearing it at Dress U. Which was nice as it's rare I have something NEW made that many months in advance. Regency is so blissfully easy. I used the Simplicity regency pattern and it went together relatively easily.

1910s Corset I made a corset following  [livejournal.com profile] jenthompson's great article for under my titanic dress.

Titanic Gown: I used the laughing moon 1910s pattern to make a dress for the Titanic Dinner at Dress U. It turned out okay. But it's not an era I find flattering on me personally. I wore it. It was there. I don't think I'll feel excited to wear it again.

Purple Ballgown Bodice: I made a new bodice for my purple Victorian for the Tiara and Jampagne party at Dress U. THIS dress I DO very much love.

18th Century Shift: igs flew through the sky when I made a hand sewn shift. I'm pretty sure it's somehow it' [livejournal.com profile] mandie_rw's fault. I loosely followed the pattern in Costume Close up. Mostly I made it up as I ripped.

Chemise Gown: made a chemise gown for Bastille Day. I loved it...I apparently don't have any pictures. So trust me it was fun.

Reticule I made a quick little bag to take to bastille day. I was really pleased with it.

Overskirt for purple gown I made a new overskirt for Belvidere and Kat's Birthday party.

Jacobean Jacket I made a quick Jacobean Jacket for the Ren Faire and I hated it at the time, but looking at pictures...I rather like it.

Last but certainly not least:
Obnoxious Plaid Regency: was invited to [livejournal.com profile] sadievale's pumpkin tea and made the delightfully obnoxious plaid dress. I love it with big puffy hearts. I also got to wear my new bonnet that was a really beautiful gift from [livejournal.com profile] ladyxjade

All in all it was a great year!! I got a surprising amount sewn considering my full-time student status. I look forward to next year being even busier and better! I have the greatest friends and I count my blessings for all of you every day!

I don't care what you say, I think the Titanic dress DOES look good on you! So there.

And the hand-sewn shift is probably my fault, I completely agree! Hee.

Oh, and I love that plaid dress you wore to the Pumpkin Tea! Definitely a good year for you. :D

Great year indeed! Impressive that you did so many different eras. And managed to look fabulous in all of them.
