I can't tell if the style just isn't flattering on me or if I did something wrong.

I doesn't look that mad to me...

I would take out those front pleats and do a gather all the way along the top instead. Also you may need to lower the neckline (neckerchiefs are you friend!) to prevent gaping there.

It looks lovely to me. You might want to gather the front bib panel. Similar to this extant red Regency apron front.

Agree with trying gathers on the front panel instead, but really, other than that I think it looks fine!

I don't think there's much wrong with it, but I think the bib portion needs to be *just* a little bit wider, so it will button closer to your sleeves, but I'm not totally sure since I (unfortunately) am not as well endowed as you are. I think a gathered bib would also be your friend. I did that with my bib-front and it seemed to help the look. In your case, I wouldn't necessarily line the gathered bib front, just use binding strips along the top and sides that can lie flat, and then the gathering will make up for the curve of your bust. Does that make sense? I also am (personally) not a fan of the box pleats on the front skirt, I'd go more for a gentle gathering across it, and if your bib is gathered too, it will look nice. Other than that it looks great! I love the sleeves especially!

When I say gathered bib, I mean all the way across like in Janet Arnold (the pattern I copied for mine), rather than the one Isabella linked to which is just gathered across the top. That could also work, but I feel like gathers across the whole front would help it lie nicer? And then I'd gather the front skirt panel just a bit, not as much as the bib is, to give you some room for it to not go wonky. It could almost look straight, if that makes sense.

Haha, or flat I mean, not straight. Slight gathers will help it lie straight while also not looking like it's majorly gathered. Sorry if this doesn't make sense! I'm tired. :P
