My list of "OH SHIT" contained two other things: a chemisette and under sleeves...and I decided that as I was so stressed cause I've been working 50-60 hour work weeks for the last money that I would give myself $30 to throw at my problems.

Did you know that Amazon still sells dickies?! Apparently there are people in the world who wear them...

Yes this will work nicely...my nice undersleeves from Etsy arrive tomorrow.

Sometimes throwing money at the problem is the exact right solution. And it feels so good! My friend Julie who is coming with me ordered undersleeves on ebay and I am in love with the bonnet I paid someone else to make and decorate. Ahhhh, progress with minimal effort...feels so good!

Sometimes its worth it to buy stuff, just for the time and hassle it saves.

I, for one, would rather pay someone else to make corsets. I don't have the time or patience for all that boning and eyelets. And nobody is going to see it unless we're really good friends.
