I survived!

robinsnestYEE HA finals are OVER! Now I've got a month all to myself too explore London before the new students arrive and classes start again! I'm gonna take a sketch pad to the national portrait gallery and get a good look at some tudor paintings I've wanted to go analyse for ages, and then there's camden town to explore, portabella market, and a HUGE list of things to do!
but first I have to decorate for my first christmas away from home! (mom and molly are coming out on the 26th so it's kinda halfway to an independant christmas ;-) I'm gonna find myself a nice little tree, but not till I move flats on the 21st, for now I'm gonna make a garland from wrapping paper like mom did for ours at home years ago. I think she did it while pregnant with someone, but I've always remembered it being there. and I bought two cute sweaters at a thrift store for 3£'s total and I'm going to make stockings for lexi and I! (too bad I won't have a fire place not exactly sure where to put them...).
It's a little weird watching everyone go home for christmas. in a way i'm sad but on the whole i'm ready for some people to leave. jarred and i have been about to kill each other for the past month, my landlord is satan, and i'm ready for some alone time. but it's sad too because most of my friends i won't see then until fall of senior year..hmm should figure out housing for then..the group flight leaves monday so it's really just this weekend that people are around. but some have already left, danielle, tom, brianna they're all home already. Tom's going to ithaca tomorrow, seems like another world to me now. perphaps by may i'll be ready to leave, but i'm certainly not now!
