sitting around waiting for the uncle to show up

So my uncle, Aunt and Cousin are supposed to show up and spend the night here on their way to Ohio. but they're the kinda people who're always late...always...so's my mom...guess it's genetic.

I miss mike.

I tentatively started a jacket to wear to the Vance family christmas party. what exactly does one wear to meet the family-in-date? and why the hell am i so nervous!? if they're half as nice or cool as the son they churned out i'll love them to death. ::sigh:: I need to pluck my eyebrows too they're gross

The quest-for-the-perfect-gift-for-mom-to-give-to-dad has finally reached a conclution as we have sucummed to the allure of getting him a golf club...dad's are so darn hard to shop for.
