Today was one of those days when I simply felt contented in knowing how many people I had around me.

I started my morning with Biological Anthropology, looks like it's gonna be facinaiting and kick my ass...yippie lol.. but already I knew two people in that class James who I worked with and Marissa who played the Gloria in Icarus last spring. then I had lunch with keaton, a nice chance to check up Keaton's a good listener and a good friend Then I had my last two classes, Theater history loaded with all the theater people I haven't seen since the spring and Intro to Statistics both are shaping up to be interesting classes.

Then maria and I decided it was time to seek employment, so we set a meeting spot and i went down to wait, well things happened and she got side tracked so while I was waiting I encountered Sean and Andy and had a great time chatting with them till maria arrived and we set off on our job quest, unfortunatly we forgot that almost everywhere closes at 4:30 or 5...oops anyway so then we walked around a little chatted and went our seperate ways

I had dinner with Jen, then Andy joined us, then Colleen, Allison, and two of their friends..then eventually Devon...after an hour and a half of talking about shakespeare movies and everything else random we departed.

then Jen and I decided we wanted to visit Cornell to say hi to EJ and possibly Kevin, EJ had just gotten back from practice so we hoped on the 8:14 #12 bus (mind you this includes 5 min of planning here) and zoomed off to the other hill and college town, we met EJ outside of this sketchy coffee shop jen loves called stellas....very sketchy...anyway EJ proceeded to kick my ass in chess...gotta work on that. Ej's amusing as hell :-) so then Kevin called Jen's cell to see if we wanted to go see a movie after forcing him to pick us up we went back to his dorm to watch Doggma actually a very good movie, with a bunch of his friends...and I've come home content. I don't think I'll stop missing home but I'm happy with my situation here. Yesturday I still felt that new on campus isolation today I saw bunches of people and did bunches of stuff, and learned that god is a woman in an 80's prom dress...go figur

One thing I like about reading from the Friends page is that for long entries I see at least a half-dozen lines before I scroll down enough to see the name. So I get the chance to guess who's writing before I know, and even when identifying details are scarce as here I usually can guess after three lines or so. It's a solid reminder about individuality, that even our words in identical fonts have more than enough uniqueness (uniquity?) to be ours.
