First a little comdey spawned from the ride home. Robin and Keaton's ten ways to know you're driving through East bumble-fuck

10. There's at least one RV for every two houses, and it's in far better condition than the house it's parked at
9. You pass 5 satelite dishes, all of them visibly broken
8. The lawn orniments consist of a junk yard or a swamp.
7. There's an above ground pool in someone's front yard.
6. There's an outhouse in the side yard (or anywhere in the yard for that matter).
5. The houses are painted at least three colors each, but more paint is missing than is present.
4. You're not positive the town has running water
3. There's a church every two miles
2. At least one wall of every house is made of or held together by duct tape, plywood and plastic.
1. there are more cars that don't run than cars that do.

So spring break has come and gone. You know I'm really starting to get irked at the way time does that, I can never seem to hold someone as long as I'd like to. I always have to let go just when I feel safe finally. but time marches on, however I hope i never forget this break! It was definitely one filled with joys and triumps. In one night I got over my fears of highway driving, merging, and lane changes, figured out toll boths and mastered cruise control! and felt like such a damn fabulous adult!!!
I had such fun on my road trip to Lee with Amy and Picking up Stephen, and I saw my first real, well sorta AHL counts, hockey game! and we WON GO RIVER RATS!!! (THAT's the team you're supposed to chear for dorky) Then it was ice cream and movies. okay swimfan is just plain creepy!!! and road to perdition is a little hard to follow, i suppose not talking through the whole movie would help though...oops.
On Thursday I draged steve snowshoeing. I love that my mom bought those things, they're such fun and seriously when else can you "tromp" and not look silly. After a really nice Tromp in the woods we came in for hot cocoa and I kicked some serious ass in TETRIS!!! i want my playstation here just for that game...pretty sad huh.
Friday I worked then Hung out with Sarah, I haven't seen her in a really long time. I love seeing her and it's almost a bittersweet joy because it makes me miss those days so much I can almost taste the laughter. but we had fun watching Seven and Novicain, two thinker movies...well sorta on the later.
Saturday I worked, worked worked worked. and I loved it. I love BIG! and I spent my last night with WES and CHRIS and AMY three of the coolest people I know.
and now I'm back at school and in that I-just-left-home sadness. I always feel a little down when I come back here. but I know tomorrow I'll get swept into everything that is IC and I'll be loving it here more than anywhere else on earth.
