pausing to streach my hands

So I'm taking a brief break on my hat...I finally got myself going and worked for a solid hour and now my left hand is KILLING me, it's been really bad lately perhaps why I was stalling so badly on the hat...that's it...not that i'm lazy...

Anyway So far I got the brim cut out of plastic canvas, wire zigzagged on, flannel covering added and one side of the brim covered in the sateen and lace...can I just say how much I heart cotton sateen it's such yummy yummy fabric! I just wish I could find some good white ostrich feathers for it...heck i'd take any kind. But all Joanns has is turkey feathers or really dinky peacock feathers. blech. I did buy a lovely round broach that kinda looks like the buckle on the hat from the Koyoto fashion institute i'm loosely copying...but I'm still gonna keep my eyes out at the fleamarket tomorrow
