Decided to take a break while working to document the progress on my 1904 blouse...

So I'm using Past Patterns 1910 "Edwardian Tucked Waist with yoke" which so far I have nothing but great things to say about. I bought the fabric with my mother while in the fabric district and the trim I stole from work (okay I really did have permission). It really is white...despite my crappy flash.

So here's what I've got so far:

Marissa and I counted that in total the blouse has 100 pintucks. The lesson of which has been that 1. Pintucks are horrible when you're a tad OCD 2. Domestic sewing machines don't sew a straight line no matter how hard you try.

So what's left:
1. I need to attach the sleeves
2. Whip stitch the collar on as it's just pinned at the moment
3. attatch the waist tape, it's just pinned around the dress form at the moment
4. HEM! blech
5. Buttons and possibly snaps, I have to be able to get out of it by myself so it may be fake buttons, snaps totally existed in 1904!
