someone let the actors dress themselves...
Apr. 4th, 2012 10:52 pmTonight instead of my old lady self watching some wheel of fortune our local ABC station ran an actually interesting little half hour documentary about the Yellow Fever epidemic in Philadelphia in 1793. I'm watching and suddenly I burst out laughing and Rob had to come see what was wrong...

They had generally okay costuming..but clearly they let the actors dress themselves. Even Rob could clearly see her hat was backwards...

oh yeah and wearing your hair DOWN is so wrong.

It's really a shame because overall it was well shot, and the costumes were fairly good. They just clearly didn't have someone there saying "this goes here." My other favorite was the man with his collar unbuttoned and a scarf tied inside it so every time his head turned he flashed a giant patch of skin.
