there's no place like home

There's something about this town. It makes me smile. I was feeling very dead to the world. kinda void. but coming home reminds me of who I am, and what and who I love. I love talking with my mom, and trying to figure out if my dad is kidding or not. I love wrestling my brother. I love the picture of the little girl climbing into the bathtub that's hung on my bathroom wall since I could crawl myself into the bathroom. I love my sewing machine and my bright pink walls (yeah i wonder what's wrong with me too) I love my job and I love showering without shoes. I love washing my own dishes and feeling the soapy water warm and clean. I love doing laundry without paying for it. I love hearing someone say "I love you, drive safely" every time i leave for work. ::sigh:: I think vacations are the best times...so little stress, so many projects and oh so much fun.
