sometimes being a good aunt stinks

I had to bail on going to Gettysburg with mandie_rwbecause of a stupid cold rearing it's ugly head, I just couldn't risk spending all weekend and getting sick myself. I wouldn't normally care, I'm impervious to most bugs, but I'm going up to my sister on Wednesday to be with a less than 1 week old baby. :-/ If I DID get a cold I'd pretty much have to self-quarantine myself down here and totally miss thanksgiving...*sigh*...being responsible STINKS. I REALLY REALLY wanted to go!!! Now I get to sit around and study and watch Rob be a cranky pants. I guess I'll try to be productive and make stuff for etsy. I hope mandie_rw doesn't hate me forever for ruining all the fun.

Only for about three minutes, not forever! ;) Promise. Gettysburg isfun, but it's not one of my can't-live-without-it events. And you've made me save money and given me three extra days of sewing time - good things! And now we've both got a whole year to make new 1860s dresses, haha.
