I picked up some natural and brown marled worsted weight wool yarn on clearance at work today for $1.97 a skein and I've been pondering what I could make with it. I'm on a historic knitting kick at the moment and I was thinking of making this shawl it looks pretty simple, all garter stitch and basic increases which I can do. So I'm poking around ravelry trying to figure out just exactly how it gets the chevron shape (I think it comes from increasing in the CB and the edges) originally I thought it was two pieces sewn together, but I don't think so now. A lo- and behold [livejournal.com profile] koshka_the_cat has already made it of course!
I swear she's done everything! LOL. Guess I know who to direct questions to when she gets back from costume college.

I've made one too. It was really easy. I think someone said the increases are an inverted miter. I only did two colors on mine, but that was because I couldn't find a third color in the same yarn that I liked with the first two.
