I've been working along on my shawl and it's going pretty smoothly. It's juuust getting to the point where it has to get smooshed to fit on my circular needles.

and then I see it....2.5" in or 11 rows...I messed up a stitch and there's an obvious oops...

ARGH!! I already frogged 8 rows earlier to fix an error but my rows are much longer now and that would mean taking out several hours of work, to redo several hours of work. But I promised myself I would try to not leave errors and be good and fix them...but the idea of pulling out that much work is kind of heartbreaking. So I guess I'm putting it down for tonight while I try to decide what to do.

Date: 2013-08-06 02:37 pm (UTC)After you fix the error, which will likely involve dropping a few stitches in the column of the error and then picking them back up with the crochet hook, put the last live stitch back on your needle, and carry on. Voila! No rows frogged, just a few stitches undone and redone!
