SNOW DAY!!
Feb. 10th, 2010 04:12 pmWHEEEE! SNOW DAY!
So when I woke up there wasn't that much snow on the ground, but a solid coating of sleet. I briefly went "crap I have to go in" until I watched a pickup truck spin out trying to get up the teeny tiny incline out of our apt complex...so I called the STL who said call the DTL and tell her. I call the DTL and DTL says "of course, no one's opening today that decision's already been made..." "ooookay...who was gonna tell the peons?"
Anyway SNOW-DAY! I was feeling bad about not going in until about 10 when it started coming down fast, thick and white out. Then I didn't feel bad...in fact it STILL hasn't stopped.
But never ones to be grownups about a situation Rob and I ventured out (he was a tooootal willing participant...once I got him over the "but I only have one pair of pants!") to make snow-creatures!
I made an adorable snow penguin
( Rob made a slightly less successful Snow frog )
There was also a snow fort with "no boys allowed" written on it and a heart with R+R..and no I made the fort and he made the heart.
