stalling

I need to make Rob try his pants on for the 3rd time. I've now taken in the inseam and the as well...but they still look...wrong...*sigh* I DID take a horrible picture last fitting just for you though. Those elastic waisted pull on pants are starting to look reeeeally appealing. I don't get it, they're a simplicity pattern! Usually simplicity is large, and not historical..but not horribly mis-shapen!

a picture of the horror. This is after I took in both seams to try and get some fabric out of there. They're just so damn splayed! Did I sew something on wrong?!? They look like pants just really dumpy pants.
